Alifia Soeryo (Ka Fia)

Hi. We are Alifia Soeryo's family, the victim of the recent tree incident in North Adelaide and the aim for this donation is to help fund her travel back home to Jakarta.

Ka Fia attended university when she was 21 to pursue her Masters. You may know her as the academic who would listen to your worries patiently while writing her thesis. You may also know her as the energetic athlete who has cycled Adelaide's nook and corner. She also did other sports such as pilates and running.

To the general Indonesian Community in Adelaide, Ka Fia is their first point of contact. You may know her as the person who contacted you when you first came to the university. As the Head of Social Media, she succeeded in garnering attraction and recognition for Indonesian students. She ensures that everyone feels at home despite being in a foreign country.

To the general public in Indonesia, she was a well-known cat-loving car enthusiast. Her shy and charismatic demeanour made it effortless for her to fit into the community. But most importantly, she uses her charm to ensure people do feel as if they belong in their vast car world.

To her friends, she is a reliable moon. You may know her as the friend who woke you up to ensure that you went to your interviews on time. You might also know her as the friend who would invite you to her home so you could have your daily mental breakdowns. But she is mostly known as the friend who would endlessly gush about how much she loves her sister.

Because to her family, she was the most selfless daughter and sister. She was someone who you could run to when you have good news because she would get excited about it together or bad news and she'll shine some light on the situation to make it a positive one. Ka Fia is always keen on trying new things and traveling to new places and whenever she does, she makes the experience a million times more memorable.
