Ali’s Volleyball Tuition

Ali developed a love for Volleyball about 2 years ago, as most of you know she has never really been into sports. She started private lessons and after working hard she decided to tryout for her school team. Sadly she did not make it but she kept on going, taking lessons all season and trying to practice with anyone who would say yes.
She did her first summer camp last summer and decided to try out for their travel team after not having any practices in months. (None were available) she went and knew none of the girls, they stood in their groups and talked and laughed as Ali sat w/me, she did not let that get to her though, she pushed through and gave it her all. She was very upset the first night but then pushed through again for night two. Later that evening we found out she did not make it. We were told about this other travel team and the tryouts were 2 days later. She said she wanted to go, we did and SHE MADE IT! She is very proud of herself as are we. This girl has had a rough couple of years and still continues to push through and not give up although I am sure there are times that she wants to.
We did not realize how expensive the tuition would be so that is what we are asking for and we will prepare for hotels and travel and so on. As many of you know we have had a rough financial year, losing our jobs that we worked at together and then falling very behind in all areas. We have cut down on many of the things that we have come to realize we do not need. In lieu of early Christmas and Birthday gifts this would be very appreciated. I want this for her, we want this for her and we are committed to giving her this last year and a half before she goes off on her own. If you can contribute anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. Most of you know I hate asking and really do not share my finances with many but we really want her to be able to do this.
