Alisha needs a new knee

Donation protected
We all have that friend who is always there for us, who drops everything to help others, who does everything for everyone but themselves. We quite literally all have that friend - her name is Alisha. Now Alisha needs help, but she's not going to ask for it so I (Shelly) will.

Back when Alisha was trying to be Sporty Spice, playing volleyball in college, she tore her ACL and meniscus (the internet tells me these are parts of your knee). She had it repaired about 20 years ago but it wasn't as good a repair job as you'd hope and now she's back to square one. Actually she's back at Square Minus 1 since now things are worse: 'Here Alisha - have a torn ACL and meniscus and we'll throw in some weird thing that locks your knee up when you're trying to stand or walk.'

The only thing left to get Alisha fully mobile again is a new knee - which should last her the rest of her life.

Surgery is May 6 and she will have to be off her feet for three to four months. This means no bartending, which is her primary source of income. This is where we come in. She's been there for us over and over and over. It's our turn to be there for her.
