Donation protected
Who?
Alissa Bonjuklian, made possible with the incredible power of coordination and logistics through Therapists for Armenia and the Armenian American Sports Medicine Coalition. Special thanks to Victoria Armineh Babikian and Nicholas Tavoukjian. And special thanks to everyone who is willing to support this mission.
Please check out the Therapists for Armenia FB Page as well as the
Armenian American Sports Medicine Coalition FB Page !
What?
Volunteer medical mission trip to Yerevan to help rehabilitate the Armenian soldiers who have been injured or wounded defending Artsakh.
When?
April 19 - 30
Why?
As a registered & licensed occupational therapist for 8.5 years in the field of physical rehab, and as a great-granddaughter of 8 genocide survivors, I feel a deep calling to return to our motherland to help give back in the way that I know best. I'm certain that most descendants of survivors agree that our ability to not just survive but to THRIVE is the best proof that Turkey failed.
How?
My goal is to raise $7,000 to help cover the cost of:
(1) Rehab/therapy supplies, equipment, and materials that I will bring for use during daily treatment sessions.
(2) My air & ground transportation
(3) Translator & interpreter stipend
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to everyone who supports this mission.
Sincerely,
Alissa
