Alivia’s terminal journey & preparations
Donation protected
Update 11/5/23 - Unfortunately Alivias tumor has turned into a high grade glioma, which is in fact terminal cancer. As of right now the team on her case as well as her family & loved ones are looking into clinical trials & other forms of medical possibilities to prolong the spread & growth so we not only have more time with her, but maybe a miracle will happen & someone, somewhere will have more hope of another outcome. I will post updates as they come, please continue to pray, share & donate if possible.
When my niece, Alivia, was 7 years old , she was
diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma in her spinal cord, which affected her mobility & physical capabilities. She had to have two extremely long, major surgeries with a very extensive hospital stay, that resulted in the majority of the tumor being removed. After back braces, leg braces, radiation, physical therapy and continuous hospital exams, unfortunately, now 9 years old … the tumor has come back, in the same spot. This type of tumor is aggressive & is already affecting her mobility. My sister is in a battle with insurance, but that doesn’t stop what has to happen. The surgeon is pushing forward in 3 weeks for a third surgery. Aftercare will include more physical therapy, more radiation & more braces. My sister has 3 other children at home & will have to commute 2 hours to and from, her house to still be able to maintain her household. We need help. Anything is appreciated… please share & keep livi roe in your thoughts & prayers. Thank you
