From Hampshire and IoW News
At least 13 people have been left homeless since a large fire broke out on a row of terrace houses on Hill Park Road in Gosport.
Fire crews have been battling over night the large fire which had spread to at least Seven properties on the terrace.
The cause of the fire is suspected to have originated from an E-Scooter in one of the three storey properties although a full fire investigation will be conducted later today.
South Central Ambulance Service and the Hazardous Area Response Team are also in attendance alongside Hampshire Police who are facilitating road closures to nearby roads. Police will also assist in the investigation stage and provide scene guarding.
A family told us how they have been now left homeless after the volume of water the Fire Service have had to put on the roof blaze meaning the remaining property is damaged and the structure also affected.
2 Casualties have been treated at the scene and released, without needing further treatment. 9 Adults and 4 children have been displaced from the affected properties and are in the care of emergency planning.
12 Breathing Apparatus, 4 Main Jets, 1 Hose Reel Jet and 1 Ariel Ladder Platform are currently in use.
