In this picture, you see a mother and a daughter as they’re creating beautiful memories to cherish for many years to come. You see a bond, that not-even the strongest forces would be able to break. You see love.

As I’m sure many of you are aware 32 year oldOlivia gained her angel wings on May 19th of 2020, leaving behind her precious 6 year old daughter, Althea.

To know Olivia, was to know her laughter, and how infectious her smile was. It was her quirky sense of humor that would always lead to sarcastic comments, and the inevitable of her picking on you (out of love, of course). It was her love of fashion, dance and all things theatre. It was overcoming many obstacles that she faced on her journey and fighting to become a better version of herself every day. Mostly, it was for her love of her beautiful little girl.

The loss of a parent, at any age, will change your life forever. Fortunately for many, it’s an experience not gone through until the later years of adulthood. You will have had time to make beautiful memories to look back on and smile. At the young age of 6 years old, Althea will be faced with many challenges navigating through life. There will be sports teams, dance classes, prom, graduation, college, a wedding etc. to name a few. So I’m here to ask you all to do what our small town does best, and rally together toshow Althea that we are here to support her and her future.

Althea has a wonderful family that will be behind her to help overcome anything she may face, but no family mourning the loss of a Daughter, a sister, a niece, or a granddaughter should have to focus on expenses of the future. Thats what were here for.

Please don’t feel compelled to donate just money. I’m sure Althea, and the rest of Olivia’s family, would just as much appreciate your prayers and any words of comfort.
