Hello, my name is Luis Escalara and I have created this GoFund Me donation page in support of my partner, Kevin Cauley, who was admitted to the hospital with gout but is now septic and under the care of Hospice with an untreatable bacterial infection to his brain. The money raised will help Kevin with his medical expenses, as he battles sepsis, the body’s extreme response to an infection.

His illness is devastating, and it has affected us emotionally, mentally and financially. Kevin is my love, a kid at heart, and one of the most unselfish people you will ever meet.
