All in for Anthony - Rare Bone Cancer
It is with a heavy heart I share this - If you found your way to Anthony's page, thank you. God has blessed my family and I with supportive, kind-hearted, and generous people. Without you, this battle would be near impossible.
I've had many accomplishments in my life, but the greatest is being an aunt. As the youngest of four, I always hoped for a little brother. Although not realistic, I spent many nights praying. In January of 2006, God answered. Anthony arrived.
You wouldn't see one, without the other - We were inseparable, and still are. He learned from my habits, adopted my passions, and followed my every move. I was his hero, and he was 'my little brother.'
Now, it's his turn to be my hero. On August 26th, Anthony was diagnosed with bone cancer in his knee. A rare pediatric cancer, in the family of sarcoma.
As we await the final form (Ewing or Osteosarcoma) and stage diagnosed, we prepare for the long road ahead. Financially, we are unable to do this alone. His treatment will consist of intensive chemotherapy, surgery, and additional chemotherapy. Anthony is planning to undergo doctor care now at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
As a 15 year-old boy, who was the answer to my prayers. Please allow me, to be the answer to his. I want to thank you in advance, for being ALL IN FOR ANTHONY. God bless, and stay well.
We will fight for those who lost, and battle cancer - Watch over Anthony, Grandma.
