All Kids Deserve Dignity and Equal Chances
Donation protected
Hi y'all. These kids need your help.
A mother in my small town in Eastern Kentucky is hosting a sports club for children with disabilities. We haven't had anyting like this in almost five years, back when we used to have a sports club for kids who are diversely- and differently-abled.
She will be working with a teacher to sponsor the club and is raising the money herself. She is a tireless bearcat of a mom who believes that her child, who has special needs, should have the same access to sports, the same right to feel good about himself, to feel strong, to feel a part of something, as anyone else.
She wants them to have real uniforms. To be a real team -- because they ARE REAL. These kids are human beings. They should have the same dignity as the other kids in school.
They are anticipating 20 kids. We would need roughly $200 per kid. 100% of this will be spent directly on them and everyone working is volunteering their time for the kids.
Please help or share.
