Support Allan Mangold's Family

As many of you know, we suddenly and unexpectedly lost our dear friend, Allan Mangold, in May. As a friend of the family for many years, I have seen Allan and his wife, Linda, pour everything they had into their dream of developing and patenting a life-saving product and all the ups and downs that come with self-employment. Unfortunately, they hadn’t gotten to the point where they were able to save and prepare for an unforeseen tragedy like this loss. I’ve been here with Allan’s family through this difficult loss and it has been heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and offers to help or be of service from countless people from their local community including friends, neighbors, families and their kids whom Allan coached and mentored for over a decade and that Linda supported from Pop Warner through high school, to Allan’s enormous faith and prayer group that he developed around the country through his rededication to his own faith and desire to be of service to others and Linda’s friendships with her Wing Sisters – fellow Air Force Moms. The family has been so touched by this.
I am reminded of the saying “It takes a village” and when people come together, there is power in numbers. When many can give just a little, it equals a lot of help! Now Allan’s family is struggling and needs help from their “village”. Most importantly, they need help to cover the costs of Allan’s internment and services. And at such a terrible time, they have been told that their rental house of 6 years is being sold soon and so Linda and her daughter must move out. Jenna is staying local with friends and Linda is moving cross country to help her sister take care of their aging parents. The enormous cost, both financial and emotional, of closing down 26 years of a family’s life and moving has added to everything else they are already going through.
I invite you to help make a difference for a family that is always the first to jump in and help others. I have a lot of faith that we can all join in to give Allan the honorable send-off he deserves and help his family get through these really rough times. Thank you in advance for chipping in and please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this with others. The Mangold family is beyond grateful.
