Allen Smith Medical Expenses

Allen is an Iraq war combat veteran who is in need of emergency heart surgery.  Due to congestive heart failure, Allen has to undergo an open-heart procedure to replace his aortic valve, which is working currently at only 27% capacity.  Unfortunately,  the VA will not cover the expenses of this critical surgery as they denied the timely need despite the fact that ICU is filled beyond capacity of CoVid-19 patients and would therefore be required to outsource ICU recovery.  This effectively leaves the entire burden of the funding for this expensive procedure upon Allen's and his wife's shoulders.  Allen is considered an essential worker in the mental health field as he provides therapy for children and families.  Now, Allen is in dire need of our help for this daunting challenge.   We ask humbly that you  help in whatever way you can; whether it is by direct donation or sharing the link for this page, it will be appreciated equally.
