Our son, Robert Jameson Brewer, came into this world months early, at just 26 weeks and 4 days gestation, on October 19, 2015. He weighed a mere 1 pound, 1 ounce at birth, but the strength of his spirit brightened the entire room. We fell in love the instant we saw him, and fell more in love with every smile and every breath. It might have beat inside a small chest, but our Little Prize Fighter had the heart of a gladiator.
Jameson fought to stay with us for seven beautiful months, but in the end, his warrior spirit was stronger than his tiny body, and he left us the morning of May 26, 2016. Our hearts are decimated. There are no words to describe this loss, but then, there are no words to describe our son. It's impossible to capture how amazing Jameson truly was, and for that, we are ever thankful for him - and to him, for making the last seven months the most incredible time of our lives.
It is with broken hearts that we must ask you, our family and friends, to help us honor our Featherweight Champ with the loving farewell he deserves so much. All the funds raised here will be used for Jameson's funeral services and burial. If, by some miracle, your donations exceed those expenses, overflow funds will go toward his remaining medical expenses.
