All Hands In For Alli

There is a beautiful 9yr old girl named Allison "Alli" Matthis who has been battling Leukemia for over a year now. Last year at just 8 years old, Alli was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblasitic Leukemia (ALL).  She is currently in remission but her fight continues for another year through a rigorous treatment plan.

We want to honor Alli and stand strong with her during this fight, so myself Tara Knowles, Jennifer Russell, Tiffany Peel and Karah Lindbergh have decided to train for and run in the Louisiana Marathon this January 15, 2017 in Baton Rouge in honor of Alli.  While it is a first marathon for all of us except one team member (the most the rest of us have ever run was a 5K!), we want to remind Alli that she is not alone in this fight.  We can never match her level of toughness, but we can push ourselves to be better for the benefit of Alli and other children fighting cancer.

Our team has decided to raise $10,000 in honor of Alli and all proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN where Alli and her family have received such wonderful care.
