Allie's Empower Project for 4 Paws for Ability
Donation protected
This year at school Allie (my daughter) was picked to attend a Packer Empower Experience after sharing her own story of what is it like to be a sister to a sibling with special needs. She talked about what it was like to see her older brother bullied and how she would stand up for him even though she is 2 years younger. Included in her essay she stated that if she was chosen she would like to do a project that would help another special needs child get a service dog like her brother to help with the anxiety that they experience everyday. Tristin received his dog Prince 5 years ago from 4 Paws for Ability for seizure alert and behavior disruption as well as a he now had a true friend that didn't judge. Allie seen the amount of people that donated there time and money to help Tristin get Prince and would love to give back to another child in need.
As part of the Experience she was asked to do a project in which she will be taking Prince to school with her to show everyone what he does for our family and then penny wars in the classroom to raise money to give to another child in need of a service dog. She also asked we start a gofund me account for people interested in helping her met her goal to raise enough money to sponsor a child in need of a service dog through 4 Paws. After her fundraising is complete she would like to present the money to a child and their family that's in the fundraising process and possibly make a return trip to 4 Paws for Ability to share the impact they made on her family. The cost that each family must raise is $17,000. Let's see how many special needs children she can help to complete their fundraising. Money donated will be will be collected and distributed to 4 Paws with the hope to have a specific child's name attached to it to help them complete their fundraising process.
