Allie's Army: Help Us Fight

Allie graduated from Truman State University and played on the varsity soccer team for all 4 years; she then moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend her first year of medical school at University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. After hurting her back during a lifting workout in late November,  Allie received an MRI to check for a slipped disk. The MRI showed a slipped disk, but also a small nodule on her spine. As a precaution, they ordered a CT scan where they discovered a decent sized abdominal mass and multiple spots in other bones. with a general diagnosis of metastatic cancer of unknown type. With the help of wonderful doctors, we managed to get into Mayo Clinic in Minnesota within 2 weeks of the original findings on the CT scan. They determined she has a very rare neuroendocrine cancer called paraganglioma. As our family begins the start of this battle, we will need support physically, emotionally, and financially. This fund will be used to help the Cross family pay for Allie's treatment, cover living and traveling expenses back and forth to Mayo Clinic,  and provide comfort during this tough time.
