Support Allison's family at Special Olympics

Our daughter, Allison, is so amazing! Although she was born with Down Syndrome, she has not let that keep her from a happy, fulfilling life. While in high school, Allison was voted homecoming queen by her classmates and she was named to the school district's Senior Hall of Fame for the way she inspired others with her positive attitude and caring nature. She holds down two jobs, one at a local preschool and one as a hostess at a popular restaurant, and participates in the Special Olympics, among other activities. Through her hard work and training, she has qualified to represent the United States at the World Special Olympics in Berlin, Germany in June 2023 as a member of the cycling team. This is such an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience for her and will help build her confidence, independence, and self-esteem. We could not be more proud of all she has accomplished.

Allison is one of only 8 cyclists representing the United States at the Special Olympics World Games and the only cyclist from Texas. She has been cycling and training with the Road Rascals Cycling Team for 4 years and her team is supported by the College Station Independent School District and the Brazos Valley Booster Club, aka the Aggie Bombers.

As you can imagine, it is very expensive to travel to Germany from our home in Texas. We would like to be there to support Allison and watch her compete in this amazing opportunity.
