For nearly a decade, Healthy Waltham has worked to alleviate health disparities in Waltham and to improve the health outcomes of our city’s most vulnerable residents, including low-income seniors, recent immigrants and public school students, most of whom qualify for free or reduced-cost lunches. Our programs improve nutrition, encourage physical activity and increase access to healthy foods.
This Giving Tuesday, we hope you'll stand with us against hunger and in support of equal access to vital programs that promote the health and wellbeing of all Waltham families. We’ve set the goal of $10,000, which will be MATCHED, dollar for dollar, by our generous campaign sponsors at Life Science Cares Boston!
