Alma Murgic Bajramovic

Dear Family and Friends,
I have managed couple of other GoFund me fundraisers and the past few days God has directed me to do another one for Alma Murgic Bajramovic.  

Alma is married to my cousin and has 4 kids ranging from age 4 to 12, two boys and two girls. My cousin has taken some time off from work to take care of the kids. 

I never thought that anything like this 
would hit our family but it did. 

on July 25th, 2020 Alma didn’t feel well and went to the emergency room because she couldn’t breath (Mercy Hospital- Waterloo, IA). The doctors had done few ExRays and few Cat-scans and checked for Covid-19, which she didn’t have.  She gets to find out that she has a black spot on her lungs and a condition called Chylothorax, a rare condition in which lymphatic fluid leaks into the space between the lungs and chest wall. They told her that they can’t do much for her and told her that she would be transferred to IA City Hospital where more testing will be done, and the surgery will happen there. She waited till July 28th and then they told her that they don’t have space there and ended up transferring her to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA. In oder for her major surgery to happen, the doctors have to clean out the fluid. Alma is still in the hospital without insurance and she is in great pain. We are still waiting for her return. This has taken a great toll because my cousin has only seen her twice and due to Covid-19 she is unable to see the kids. 

With hospital stay, all the scans, transfer to another hospital and all the bills that will be arriving soon the family will have a hard time. 

I started Alma’s fundraiser to help with Medical bills. We are pleasing all family members,  friends and everyone else thatcan help to donate to this fund to help the family.
