Saving Al-Maghari Family and getting them to safety

I, Rabahi, 27 years old from Gaza, married to my wife Randa Al-Maghari for two years. God blessed us with a child during the war amidst difficult circumstances. I worked as a delivery worker, but unfortunately, the war destroyed my source of income, causing me to lose my job. This link was created with the help of my wife's friends, Afnan Al-Janabi and Sarah Eid. I appeal to your conscience and humanity to save me and my family from certain death. We live every moment of our lives in terror, fear, and anticipation of an unknown fate. War machinery in Gaza does not differentiate between humans and trees, nor between animals and stones, as everyone in the targeted area is affected.

Now I am speaking to you and writing my story, and the bombing does not stop, and the situation is getting worse. Six months have passed since the war began, with no water or electricity. Even when water is available, it is contaminated and unfit for drinking or use. My child was born during the war, now four months old, and suffered a health setback for 10 days due to air pollution from explosive materials and phosphorus, which led to his hospitalization in intensive care. I cannot provide him with the necessary vaccinations and treatment because all hospitals and health centers have been destroyed, and the availability of medical supplies is limited due to the blockade and closure of crossings.

There is also my brother Mohammed, 23 years old, a medical analysis student whose educational journey has been disrupted due to the bombing and destruction of his university.

My brother Mohammed needs to complete a treatment phase for a surgery he underwent before the war, but now he cannot receive treatment because the Al-Quds Hospital has been destroyed.

This war has lasted a very long time. Days pass and the danger to our lives increases. We are in constant danger. Gaza has reached a stage where its destruction cannot be repaired except after a long period.

To cross the borders between Gaza and Egypt at Rafah, our names must be added to the crossing list (paid permit). Coordinators in Egypt, authorized to add my family’s names to the border list, are now demanding between $5000 and $7000 per person! They won’t add the names until we can prove we have the money ready.
