Almamy House Fire

Like me, many of you are friends with Almamy or have used his services and know what a wonderful, generous, and patient man he is. Sadly, in early June there was a huge fire in his family's house which burned a significant amount of the roof. Now, they literally do not have a roof over their heads. Rainy season is about to start and already it has rained a few times inside the house.  He did not want to reach out and ask for help because he has great pride and because promises were made by some local officials to help with repairs but nothing concrete has materialized. With some persuading, by me and another friend who recently saw the damages first hand, we persuaded him to send this appeal. This is a dire situation for a family of 15 children and adults who share a small home. Please help by donating whatever is doable. Every little but really will make a huge difference.
