Almost under water

Hello! This is David Chappel. 77 (in April), year old Navy Veteran, 1964-1970. I’m currently drawing partial Social Security, took early at 63. And I’m an UBER driver. (About 30-35 hours a week, average). Uber used to be enough to add to my social and cover my bills and my half of bills shared with my sister! She’s retired and on limited income. The economy, the politics of Uber, (they’re charging riders more and paying drivers less), and unexpected bills, like $5000 borrowed 2 years ago, for a transmission replacement. Now paying $150 month. Recently, $3000 for tires, headlight, wipers and CATALYTIC CONVERTER, which I also had to borrow, and pay $160 WEEKLY on that plus car payment $278. Car insurance $263. And others! If I could pay off both loans and the $2200 balance on my car, and two months rent, (one late, one pending), I believe I could sustain going forward because I wouldn’t have $7000+ to keep chipping away! I don’t know how many more productive years I have! But I said years ago, “I’ll never retire. I’ll just keep working until I die!” Hopefully At something I like! I’ve been driving professionally, in one capacity or another, since 1987. Rideshare driving is my favorite! The flexibility is the main reason! And the money use to be decent. For the same hours I drive now, I was grossing $800-$1000 a week! Now for those same hours, $5-$600 a week! 40 hours a week at Mickey D’s grosses that much. Maybe more in California! If about 8200 people sent just $1 to my account, ASAP, I could get caught up! I know times are tough for many others. But if you can/will help, may God Bless your generosity! Thank you! ❤️✝️❤️
