Alone in Mexico, Seeking Your Support

Donation protected
Greetings friends and family. I am currently in a terrible predicament. My only vehicle Mighty Taco has finally gone into hospice. She was a 2004 Toyota Tacoma that I saved my waitress tips and small business money and bought used in 2010 to haul sculpture supplies. I met Eric my ex spouse that year and we then both began to use my truck, he used it quite extensively to haul motorcycles for his business. It has been 14 years that Mighty Taco has served both of us, in New York on the salted winter roads and she survived many small accidents and bumps and bruises while Eric hauled his bikes. Mighty Taco hauled more supplies to the earth bag build here in Mexico on the treacherous roads for another 5 years, she was even resurrected from a raging Mexican river that Eric drove her into. Needless to say I tried my best to keep her going. Eric and I were never officially married so I was not granted a settlement so I can get a reliable vehicle and pick up the pieces left behind here with me in Mexico while I continue to survive alone. I no longer have a spouse to rely on to help me with the repairs and maintenance or if I get stuck on a rural road in the middle of the jungle, there are no tow trucks, police or AAA, no reliable taxis or public transportation services to help me. I am only surviving on a small allowance to continue building myself a house and buy food and supplies and materials and there just is not enough for me to buy a reliable vehicle. I am literally trapped in my town. There is an occasional Pirata if he decides to work that day lol.....I can walk 2 hours to the boat dock and catch a boat to the next town but hauling back groceries 2 hours by foot on a 58 year old spine and legs isn't safe or easy. I cannot get a loan here I do not have enough banking history and I'm so remote there are no job opportunities for me until I get the structures build on the land to rent as an Air B&B. I have no choice to hope and pray for the generosity of my friends and family to send a few dollars if they can spare to help me get a reliable vehicle. I am grateful and humbled by the kindness that anyone can extend to me in this difficult situation.
