Our beautiful Alora has been suffering for the last 2 years with an unknown illness that has baffled doctors and family. We believe we can get her the right treatment if we can send her to a specialist possibly out of state. Currently we are gathering together everything needed for a case study to send to a few medical hospitals across the country to medical professionals who would be familiar with her illness and symptoms. Because of covid and staffing shortages, her help has been delayed and it's put a lot of the cost and drain on her family to get her what she needs on a day to day basis, while advocating for her to get sent where she needs to go. Lets come together to help with lost wages, travel expenses, and other costs that have added up and continue to do so. We are running out of time, and finances shouldn't be a reason she doesn't get the help she needs before it's too late. Alora was once a happy and shining light to all of us, and her smile and strength have left her body now, and I believe that if we can just get her where she needs to be we can get that happy girl back! No 24 year old girl deserves to be living in this much pain, but especially not our sweet Alora who has brought so much kindness and compassion to all living things! Again, we are very low on time. If we can't get her to a new specialist they've already recommended hospice care, and we are not ready to say goodbye, and she's not ready to let go.
Not everyone is comfortable donating through gofundme since they take a portion of the money, so if you'd like to donate directly to Alora's sister Haley who is helping her with everything, you can also send money directly to her venmo: @haley-muri
To view a video of her symptoms to see how difficult even existing is for her right now, here's a link (this is what she goes through 24 hours a day, and this is mild so viewers aren't too disturbed; even though this is difficult to watch as is): https://www.youtube.com/shorts/GPwifT_0e8Y
She doesn't even look like the same person as a year ago and our hearts are breaking for her misery.
