Alpine Village's Green Fund

Dear Friends of Alpine Village Resort,

Our cherished Alpine Village Resort, a place of countless memories and joy, has suffered immense losses from the Jasper Complex Wildfire on July 24, 2024. Twenty-five of our fifty-five cabins were completely destroyed, and five more bare significant damage from fallen trees. The landscape that was once a vibrant haven of trees and wildlife now stands as a stark reminder of nature’s fierce power.

Amid this devastation, there is a silver lining: the heart of Alpine Village— our family home, our Front Office, laundry, maintenance, and staff accommodation buildings—miraculously survived. These surviving structures give us hope and the foundation upon which we will rebuild our life's work.

Alpine Village has been our home for the past 40 years. We know for many of you, it was your “home away from home” . . . some of you returning for as many years as we’ve been here. We’ve treasured our visits with you all.

We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of support from our wonderful guests, every single comment and message has been so very comforting. Many of you have generously offered to donate your deposits to aid in the rebuilding efforts. Your kindness and solidarity mean the world to us.

After much reflection, we believe the best course of action is to refund your deposits and instead invite you to contribute to the Alpine Village Green Fund.

This fund is a beacon of hope, dedicated to purchasing and planting as many 5-8’ trees as possible. Each tree symbolizes a step towards healing and renewal, bringing life back to our precious property. Your contributions will help us restore the natural beauty of Alpine Village, turning despair into hope and devastation into rebirth.

Together, we can bring Alpine Village back to life, recreating the serene and beautiful environment that has been a sanctuary for so many. Your support, generosity, and love for Alpine Village are the building blocks of our future.
