AlpineHippo Hiking Drive for Charity

I would like to ask for your help to support three great charities as I hike in national parks on the west coast.
My name is Jack and I am 12 years old. Last summer, we hiked 125 miles in Glacier, Tetons, Yellowstone, and other great National Parks in about 3 weeks. During those hikes, we had the idea that we should have had a pledge drive to raise funds for charity based on our hiking. So that is what we are going to try this year.
This summer, we plan on hiking at least 75 miles, but maybe more! We are starting our trip around July 20th and ending around August 18th, 2020. I will be posting my hiking progress as part of our jsofthunder trip blog .
You can also join our facebook group, AlpineHippo, where you can share your hiking adventures, too.
Any and all contributions of any size are welcome and greatly appreciated!! You can make an overall donation or you can donate based on the miles I hike, like a pledge drive. If pledging by miles, gofundme doesn't really have a method for that, but you can wait until we finish hiking to make a lump sum donation based on the miles hiked, if you prefer.
100% of donations will go to one of the following charities: 1) the World Wildlife Fund - because they have excellent programs to save endangered animals and I love animals and I want to see them in the future; 2) the National Park Foundation - because they help support and preserve our National Parks and we enjoyed so many parks last year, with more to come this year; and, 3) the National Capital Area Council of Scouts BSA - because I am a Boy Scout and want to help support scout camps that could not hold programs this year due to COVID-19. I chose to distribute the funds myself, rather than directly from gofundme, so we could contribute to multiple charities. All funds will be distributed by the end of September, 2020.
