ALS Medical fundraiser for Todd Wescott

In June 2019, Todd was unexpectedly diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).  ALS is a progressive nervous system disease, that, unfortunately, has NO known cause or cure.  Todd was pulled from work in June 2019. He was a factory worker, but this disease has taken his ability to perform any manual labor. Todd and Diane are now a 1 income family.

We are hosting a gofundme in order to assist Diane and Todd with quickly accumulating medical bills (Dr appt’s in Syracuse and Boston, medications, medical equipment) and home renovations to make his home wheel-chair accessible.  Todd currently requires the use of BiPap machine at night and cough assist device.  Plans are being made for insertion of a feeding tube and he will be assessed for a communication device in March. 

Todd is a loving, caring husband and father.  He has always been a hard worker. He has worked in landscaping, farming, construction and most recently factory work.  Todd loves the outdoors; he loves to hunt, fish, camp and just enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer.  Todd loves life,  and loves his family and friends.   We love Todd and want him to enjoy every moment he has.  ALL  money raised will go towards medical bills, medical equipment and home renovations (ramp to get from drive way to house, ramp to get into house, wheelchair accessible bathroom just to name a few areas that need to be modified). Todd and Diane 's goal is for Todd to remain home, where he has lived his entire life and where he has raised his family.
