Altadena Wild Fire Victim Howard Brown and family

Hello everyone. My name is Howard Brown. Some of you may know me. My mom and dad moved our family from Los Angeles to Olive Ave., Altadena in 1974. I went to Franklin primary school in Altadena, Longfellow Elementary, Wilson Jr. High School, Pasadena High School, and finally graduated from Pasadena City College before attending the University Of New Mexico. I have very fond memories of participating in cake-walks at my primary school, being allowed to ride a friends horse around Altadena Dr. and Lincoln Ave, bike riding around town, and playing little league baseball at Loma Alta park. Also, Participating in my Jr. High School and High Schools marching band, playing on the football, track, and baseball teams. While living in this city and participating in these activities I made a lot of friends. Better yet, people I consider to be FAMILY!!! Memories that the fire will never be able to destroy! Our family home was recently destroyed by the wild fires. I've applied for relief/help. However, I keep hearing the same message, "save your receipts until later"! Due to the costs of everything(rebuilding, housing, fees, etc.), and the unknown future I am asking for donations at this time. Anything will help. Thank you for your support.
