Hi, Everyone!
My name is Althea Hughes. I am a yoga teacher and vegan & raw food blogger at www.theveganmochaangel.blogspot.com. I have been accepted to THE Matthew Kenney Culinary Academy to become professional raw food chef. I am raising money to assist with:
-tuition
-kitchen tools & appliances
-dry goods & produce
If you don't know who Matthew Kenney is, he is the world's leading raw food chef. More about him, his restaurants, and culinary school are at
http://www.matthewkenneycuisine.com.
My passion, which is in alignment with the mission & purpose of the school, is raw, vegan, plant-based food which is delicious, vibrant, and nutritious. Once I graduate, I intend to help families with special needs children improve their diet & lifestyle.
With your generous donation, you are not only assisting with my tuition, you are also investing in my holistic wellness brand called Mocha Angels. My brand focuses on yoga, mindfulness, intuition, and of course, raw food!
I have taught raw food classes at Kriplau Yoga & Retreat Center (http://www.kripalu.org), Pathways to Whole Living (http://www.pathways-belair.com/), as well as individuals and groups.
Thank you so much for investing in me, and helping me take my raw food skills to the professional level!
