Altus, AR, City Park Restrooms,Pavilion,Skatepark

Donations of any size are being accepted for matching grant funds for much-needed public facilities for our beautiful little City Park in Altus, Arkansas - the original home of "The Simple Life" starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richey.
Our mayor, Veronica Post, was able to secure a $100,000 grant for Public Restroom facilities, a covered Pavilion and a Skatepark, but COVID-19 has all but dried up possibilities of obtaining the $100,000 match required through our local fundraisers, which have halted due to the pandemic.  We are in one of the most historically difficult times that we have had to deal with that has impacted us financially.  If the matching money, or a portion thereof, is not obtained soon, the grant will be forfeited at a great loss to our residents and many others.  Your help to reach our required match for the grant to be funded will be greatly appreciated.  The covered Pavilion, Public Restrooms and Skatepark will serve residents and visitors for years to come.  These facilities and your help will greatly improve the quality of life and outdoor recreation enjoyment of many people. Please donate whatever you can for these public facilities that will serve all ages and are so desperately needed in our Altus City Park.
