ALU Member Alicia Johnson, Fired in Retaliation

Donation protected
Alicia Johnson has been one of the most outspoken Amazon Labor Union supporters at the JFK8 Fulfillment Center in Staten Island, NY.

At the time of her termination, Alicia was also locked in a struggle with Amazon HR to secure a workplace accommodation for her leg injury—which management refused to provide, in violation of the company's stated policy and federal and state OSHA regulations.

Because of her vocal support for the ALU, Alicia was the target of harassment and then retaliatory firing by her manager—who herself became one of more than half a dozen senior managers fired by Amazon after the JFK8 union election victory. No employee is safe from termination by Amazon's Employment Machine!

Alicia needs your support to cover costs as we fight her unjust firing in the courts. We cannot allow Amazon to retaliate against our coworkers for supporting the union and standing up for democracy in the workplace.
