Aluminums, here we come!
Donation protected
New England Ringers was founded by some of the region’s most talented ringers in 2000 for the purpose of attending and ringing at the National Director’s Seminar of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (now Handbell Musicians of America). Following this event, the ensemble continued with the mission of performing challenging music at its highest level. NER rings on a core instrument of six octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and seven octaves of Malmark Choirchimes. The original five-octave set was received as a gift from an anonymous donor in February 2004.
We continually strive to enhance our musicality and range, and have invested in a variety of supplemental instruments including percussion instruments, orchestral chimes, and White Chapel Handbells.
Join us in growing our instrument and help us purchase 7 aluminum Malmark Handbells to fill our lowest octave. These bells add an ethereal, feel-it-in-your-soul undertone that will surely be an impressive addition to our performances.
No donation is too small! We thank you in advance for supporting the New England Ringers, and we hope to see you at an upcoming performance!
