Alvaro Cardenas
I am writing to you today, with a heavy heart, to let you know about the passing of Alvaro “OG” Cardenas.
Anyone who knew Al would describe him as a strong, fearless, funny, warm hearted, caring man. He was such a giving person. Alvaro was the type of person that would give you his last dollar if you needed it. He would go through his moms fridge and feed the hungry. He always thought about other people and gave anything he could. Alvaro was diabetic and had high blood pressure... Like some of us, at times, he would forget to take his medication which made him vulnerable to the coronavirus, which in the end, took him from us this Father’s Day.
During these uncertain and extremely hard times, we understand that not everyone is able to help out. If you can’t, a simple share would help to get others to see this and donate. But we ask that if you can, to be like Alvaro and give what you can. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
With Love,
The Cardenas Family
