Alvin Lanning Memorial Fund

Hello Friends... Our names are Israel Lanning and Chelsea Chabot. We are the children of Alvin and Teresa Lanning. As many of you know, and others are just finding out, our dad Alvin lost his valliant and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, Jan 25th 2016. He spent over 100 days in the hospital trying to overcome the many medical complications that came with this horrible disease and treatment. Needless to say, financial complications go hand in hand with a situation like this. Our mom has been by his side the entire time, and after 41 years of marriage, she wasn't going to let him fight this battle alone. Sadly fighting isn't cheap, and the bills keep stacking up month after month, Dr. visit after Dr. visit, perscription after perscription, and so on. With the both of them missing so much work, we humbly and graciously ask you to help us help her.

So why are we creating this account? Chelsea and I have talked, and in lieu of flowers for his memorial service, we have decided to make a way for all of the wonderful people in our lives to help in a much more effective way. All money raised will go directly to help our momma get back on her feet. We are very greatful to you all.  If you had ever gotten to know dad, you know what a generous man he was. Always doing everything in his power to help others. He stood by his belief that "what goes around, comes around". We just want to thank you in advance for  all of your kindness and generosity.
