Toby & Holly Alvis Fundraiser

After many months of having issue with his foot, Toby has been having stokes since July and was finally approved for a brain stent to be placed. He has surgery to place the stent on Monday (10/28) morning and within an hour in the recovery room he began complaining of the worse headache that he had ever felt. He was rushed for a CT Scan and it was determined that he had a massive brain bleed and his brain was swelling exponentially. He was rushed to emergency surgery and the right side of his skull was removed to allow for his brain to swell and so that the hematoma could be removed.
As of today, (11/2) he has yet to wake up and show any signs of progress with movement (other than small movements/flexes of his arms and legs when pain is inflicted).
The ICU staff is checking his vital signs every hour and it is now up to him to fight and start to regain his motor skills. There is a long road ahead, re-learning to do everything that a person learns in their lifetime.
We all know that Toby is a terrific father and husband. This of course has been incredibly taxing on his family. Toby and Holly recently moved to Michigan for Holly's work in Education. They don't have the support system in Michigan since all of their family is in California and Nevada. Please consider donating to this family. Obviously, Holly cannot work as the 4 kids still need to be cared for accordingly. The drive to the hospital is 85 miles (one way) and this is an incredible burden on Holly. As we continue to keep our faith that Toby will wake and begin to heal, we really have no idea as to what to expect or how long this will take.
Toby is a terrific person, a man of character, and a insane sports fan.... but most of all he loves his children and wife. His recent health issues have been minor in comparison to this latest matter. Please keep he, Holly, and the kids in your thoughts and prayers.
