Always Junior Jack ♡

My name is Abbie and I am one of Cally’s closest friends, I feel I need to do this to try support Cally in this horrific time she is going through.

On Saturday 13th August Cally had no choice to deliver her baby 16 weeks early so she could get him out safe, whilst doing this she was risking her own life, Cally was lucky enough to have 1 hour 36 minutes with Junior before he decided he was too precious for this world and then sadly passed away in her arms.

I have set this go fund me page up to hopefully raise enough funds to support Cally and also enough so Cally can purchase a cuddle cot that she had next to her with baby Junior in for the whole of 4 days, if it wasn’t for donations from another family this would not be possible. Cally would never have got to have this precious last 4 days with baby Junior.

For those who don’t know what a Cuddle Cot is - A cuddle cot is a cooling mattress that stops the baby’s body deteriorating and it allows parents to stay with them for days or even weeks. When babies pass away in hospital their bodies are normally taken to the hospital morgue straight away but a cuddle cot allows parents or family to spend time with their babies and bond with them as it slows down the natural changes in there body after death.

I know Cally is so grateful for the care given to her and the baby at Maternity Services in the Grange Hospital Cwmbran. The support has been second to none and definitely worth their weight in gold!
