Alyja’s Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends, and Kind-hearted Strangers:

Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit on behalf of Alyja Lofton, a brilliant and kind-hearted senior at Edward Waters University. She who was a passenger in a tragic car accident in Atlanta, GA. Alyja is in critical trauma care, fighting for her life on a day-to-day basis. The road to recovery is uncertain and steep, but her spirit remains unbroken, and her will to live shines brightly, even in the darkest of times.

Alyja's father, Dominque Lofton, a devoted parent from Dallas, has rushed to be by her side, leaving behind his job and the security it provides to support his daughter through this harrowing time. The distance between Dallas and Atlanta is not just measured in miles but in the worry, fear, and hope that fills each day. Being away from work means no income to cover daily expenses, let alone the mounting costs of hotel stays, food, and the unforeseen medical bills that loom on the horizon.

This is a call to arms, a plea for your kindness, generosity, and support. We are setting up this GoFundMe to assist Alyja's father in staying by her side, without the burden of financial strain. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering the costs of accommodation, meals, and ensuring that Alyja has her family by her side during this critical time.

**How You Can Help:**

- **Donate:** Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. Your support means more than words can express.
- **Share:** We understand if you cannot contribute financially, but sharing Alyja's story can make a huge difference.
- **Pray:** For those who believe in the power of prayer, please keep Alyja and her family in your thoughts.

In times of crisis, the love and support of a community can shine as a beacon of hope. Let us come together for Alyja and her family during their time of need. Let us show them that they are not alone, that kindness and humanity can prevail over the darkest of times.

With heartfelt thanks,

The Lofton/Rodgers/Crawford Family
