Aly‘s fight against cancer

Hi, my names Carley & I am raising money for Aly’s fight against cancer.

Aly began to experience knee pain out of nowhere & had an MRI done. That MRI showed a tumor the size of a peach growing in her femur. It was unlikely it was cancer but a biopsy still needed to be done. A week or so after the biopsy was done Aly was pulled out of class and received a phone call the turned her life upside down. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma B. This past week Aly has met with the specialists and learned she will have to through 6 intense Chemotherapy rounds & possibly radiation. The cancer still has to be staged so she will undergo a bone marrow biopsy, PET scan, & more lab work this week.

Aly aspires to one day have a family of her own so she will also be getting injections to slow her fertility through the treatment. However, this does not guarantee fertility after chemo. She will be going through an egg retrieval process before she begins the chemo. The medications & process of an egg retrieval can be very expensive.

Aly was going to school to become a dental hygienist but has now had to put that on pause for treatment. She currently lives with her boyfriend Carson & their new puppy Goose. This journey is going to be tough but I believe we can build a strong army behind

them to help them fight this thing.
