Alysia Barnett 2022 Graduation BSBA

Aly (a.k.a. Alysia Barnett, her government name as she says) will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration BSBA in December 2022 from The University of Missouri–Kansas City UMKC. This young lady was determined…any challenge that came her way, she overcame. Regardless of what assignment/project, schedule conflict, or obstacle manifested…she always found a way to push through the blood, sweat, and tears to succeed. Talk about dedication!! The level of commitment it took was astonishing to witness!!! Aly had many long nights…sacrificed her time, finances, energy, and sometimes even her health…to complete homework, make it to class/online meetings, take midterms, and complete finals on time. Her last semester for example, was a true testament of her devotion. Aly completed close to 20 credits, held down 2 jobs…all while maintaining her own home and taking care of Ana and DJ. (she had a lil help from family and friends ) She has been ambitious, intelligent, and goal driven since a very young age. She aspires to be her own boss and own her own business one day, and she will. It was essential to her that she complete her degree to have a better life for herself and her children. Well….she did it!!! This gofundme was set up to allow family and friends the opportunity to give Aly a congratulatory gift for graduation. No amount is too small. I plan to present her with a card and funds from all of us on the day of her graduation.
