Compassionate healing aid for Humla

   For a chance to be a part of offering compassionate healing aid in Humla...I write this to you dear reader... 

It is my sincere heartfelt hope that I may be privileged to join the efforts of the Humla Fund's Compassion in Action Medical Service Trip this fall, from September 13-29,2016.

...and I need your help to bring it into manifestation!

As your love offerings flow towards this campaign, the services I will be able to provide for the people of Humla are profoundly connected to your ever-growing practice of compassion in action, Why?

Comprised of a group of 20 volunteers and practitioners,  we will head to one of the remotest parts of the world, the Humla region of Nepal.

For the third year in a row,  the leaders Tempa Dukte Lama, Heidi Harding, Timothy Aitken, and Geshe Tsewang Ngodup and members of Responsible Treks, will guide us with their tireless efforts to open pathways of compassionate care to all people who come to the traveling clinic they have organized.
I had the privilege to be a part of the 2015 trip as a volunteer. This year, the opportunity to return as a practitioner was extened to me, that I might offer my skills in energy medicine and mantric sound healing in service to those in need,especially for the children.

As a service trip, the opportunity is open to all acupuncturists, doctors, midwives, nurses, naturopaths, herbalists,massage therapists and non-medical volunteers who wish to extend and develop their inner and outer skills of practicing compassion in action,all in an extremely remote part of the world.

Humla is nestled within the Himalayan mountains bordering Tibet,China. Within her valleys and steep mountainsides, hold among other cultures and their traditions,the ancient spiritual and pre-Buddhist tradition of Bon. Paradoxically,the nature of the landscape has kept this region secluded from what we would call the modern world.
It has also kept ancient peoples and their ways, alive.

For the Westerner, such a place like Humla offers profound experiences of perceiving into worlds beyond our own comfort zone, on all levels...after Humla, all things basic, like heat, refrigeration, a glass of clear, cool water, a night sky so studded with diamonds you can scarcely imagine there are more galaxies beyond the curve...

Such things become remarkable again, astounding even... 
Gratitude is a profound frequency of awakening...

From my experience last year, I can say with a full heart, how much my life has been transformed from what I was able to bare witness to and from all I received by simply offering what I had to offer from a heart unfolding...

From the landscape, the people, the mountains,the river and valleys, rainbows and moon, the spirits of place and the fluidity of primoridal time...everything made an indellible impression...
"The heart remembers what it cannot forget"
Each and every one of you who are making the impossible, possible...contributing in any way that will allow me to travel all the way there and all the way back home again will be a part of a growing resonance of compassion in action. And each day of service that unfolds in Humla will be because of the collective effort of energies from people like you who in all ways impossible to measure are making a difference in the lives of countless many, including your very own...

For my own heart's calling, Humla is the place I imagine to be in which to practice the awakening of the human heart in relationship to the world.
This campaign offers opportunity not only to make this possible for me, in turn it supports your unfolding  awareness of how each action we choose to make matters deeply,contributes profoundly to the growing heart of compassion for the sake of the whole world...
