Hi. My name is Lora. As a lot of people know by now my beautiful daughter was the victim of a horrible crime on June 1, 2022 She went to a local shop to get her nails done and when she went to run to her car someone was trying to steal it. As she turned to run away she was shot in the back not once but twice. She is in ICU and in stable condition. One bullet went through and through and one decided to ricochet all around and cause a whole lot of damage. She was rushed to the hospital and was immediately taken to surgery to stabilize her and save her life. She then need two more additional surgeries. One each of the next two days 3 days of major surgery! I can not thank the trama team enough for saving her. She has a long road ahead of her We are not talking days or weeks but months. and will need additional surgery in the future but as for now she has to heal some before they can continue. She will not be able to work or do much of anything besides concentrate on healing. At this point it’s a day to day process and I will update as we know more. She will have medical bills. And bills for medical supplies. Future medical bills and procedures. Anyone who knows and loves her knows she is an amazing woman! She would do anything to help anyone. A great student as she is a junior in college to become a early education teacher. The man who shot her will not take her future away from her! He will not take her spirit! He will not take her strength! All her family has been by her bedside all day every day and will continue to do so because she is all that matters to us.
