My name is Ken McPherson, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my daughter and her family to help them rebuild their lives and get back on their feet. They have recently experienced a devastating house fire that has left them with nothing.

On the morning of April 4, my daughter and her family lost their home and everything they owned in a fire. They were living in a 40' trailer on family land on Vancouver Island, trying to start a new life. Unfortunately, their insurance will only cover a small fraction of the cost of the trailer and the extensive renovations they did on their home. The inside of the trailer was completely redone, so the insurance payout won't go very far in replacing their loss of living space.

In addition to losing their home, my daughter's family has also lost all their belongings, including clothes, eye glasses, furniture, appliances, and sentimental items that are irreplaceable. Basic necessities like toothbrushes and cell phones are also needed. They are facing significant challenges in starting over from scratch, and I am asking for your generous support to help them in this difficult time.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. The funds raised will go towards helping my daughter's family with the following:

1. Replacing essential items such as clothing, furniture, appliances, and personal hygiene products.

2. Securing temporary housing while they work towards finding a permanent home.

3. Rebuilding their lives by providing financial assistance for expenses such as clothing, groceries, and other daily needs.

4. Helping them restore a sense of normalcy by replacing sentimental items that were lost in the fire.

My daughter and her family have experienced an unimaginable loss. They are grateful for any support that you can provide during this challenging time.
