Please help Alyssa keep her head above water

Hi friends. This is extremely hard for me to do but it’s something that has become necessary. As you may know, I had to undergo brain surgery about 2 weeks ago to remove a cyst from my pituitary gland & optic nerves. The effects this cyst is having on my life is that of seriously impaired vision. Surgery was *mostly* successful, in that my neurosurgeon was able to decompress the cyst, but cyst tissue remains attached to important things that cannot be damaged like my optic nerves & my pituitary gland. I have been told it will take upwards of 6 months for my vision to get back to normal & hopefully improve.

My recovery time is somewhere between 6-12 weeks. I am not currently driving myself, I am most definitely not working for up to 12 weeks & I am running low on funds to pay my bills, including flights to Denver to see my doctors, rides when necessary, & unexpected costs all in relation to this wildly unexpected situation I have found myself in.

Like I said before, it is extremely hard for me to ask for financial help like this, especially with my budding business. I was finally seeing success & growth in my business & in my bank account after my incredibly busy first summer as a housekeeper & small business owner in a tourist town, but the universe decided to take a different turn for me. I barely had a nest egg for myself for regular life, let alone an emergency like this. But that is exactly why I am looking to my community to please help, if possible.
