Hello family, friends, and all who knew Alyssa. My name is Kimlyn Ros, I am Alyssa’s Step mom and I’m setting this up for her Memorial Services and my family’s support.
Alyssa was one of the two women that were found dead in a car that went into the Stanislaus River near the Spring Creek Country Club. On Tuesday, April 5th an employee of the country club noticed a vehicle in the river near the southeastern part of the golf course. Alyssa and her friend Xylona were at the country club for our cousin’s wedding on Sunday, but how they ended up in the river is still a mystery. Alyssa and Xylona were supposed to drive back to Modesto to our house after the wedding. But when they never showed, and their phones went straight to voicemail, we knew something was wrong. Her dad initiated contact with the Ripon Police Department regarding her disappearance Monday evening and decided to report her missing on Tuesday morning. Soon after he decided to drive back the the golf course using the back roads trying to see if the car swerved of the road. Once he got back to the golf course he drove around to see if he could find Alyssa’s friends car. After driving around for a few hours he receives a disturbing tweet from a country club employee about the bodies being found. He drives back to the golf course and the medical examiner confirmed the tragic news. Then the next day we went back to the crash site and created a small memorial for Alyssa and Xylona.
Alyssa was a graduate of Weston Ranch High School but was living in Southern California attending school at California State University of Long Beach, majoring in business and communications and her goal was to open her own modeling agency.
We will forever Cherish the time and memories that we were able to spend with Alyssa as we watched her grow into beautiful young woman. Alyssa was a person who saw the good in each and every one of us. Her energy radiated through all that was around her, and her heart was so genuine. She wanted the very best for all the people she knew, and for all that was around her. She most definitely made that known through her charismatic personality. She was so Free-Spirited, Kind Hearted, Strong, and So Intelligent. She was so so so beautiful inside and out. Alyssa had a smile that could be seen from a mile away, it was as big as her heart. She always made everyone laugh with her corny jokes and always made sure everyone had a good time. Alyssa was so young, she had her whole life ahead of her. At this time we ask for her to look down on us and keep us going with that radiant smile until we see you again. We all love you so very dearly Alyssa, you will forever be with us in our hearts.
