Alyssa Reid

Hi, my name is Stasi Seay. I’m fundraising for my daughter and business partner, Alyssa Reid. We own Bee’s Blossoms Florist in Atascadero. She runs the shop and is the face you’ll see there. She’s married to Erik and they have three children: Audra, 16, Owen, 15, and Dane, 13. They live in Paso Robles.

Alyssa has been struggling with acute liver failure since Thanksgiving. She’s had underlying health issues that, ultimately, caused her liver to fail and a transplant is now the only option to save her life.

She’s been hospitalized since December 26 and is currently at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla awaiting surgery. Thankfully, she’s been placed on the donor list and the wait can be a day or several weeks. Her health is declining slowly but the Liver Team is doing everything possible to keep her healthy for surgery.

Her husband, Erik, and I have been taking turns visiting her. Once she has surgery, she will need to remain in the San Diego area for 1-2 months with full time care. Erik and I plan to be her main caregivers.

Travel and hospital bills are starting to pile up and we’re just getting started. Their family needs your help.
