Alyssa's fight against breast cancer

Our dear friend Alyssa was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma at age 30.

According to her doctors, she is late Stage 2 and will need three to four months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and another three to four months of chemo and radiation.

Alyssa is the most selfless person I’ve ever met. She even tried to give me a hard time about making this fundraiser.

She is a loving daughter, an awesome nurse and makes everyone around her feel important. Fighting cancer is emotionally, physically and financially taxing.

The graph below shows data of out of pocket costs for Americans with breast cancer with a Stage I cancer diagnosis. It does not take into account missed wages from not being able to work. We can assume Alyssa’s stage 2 diagnosis will cause more of a financial burden then this so anything you can donate will really help.

Our goal is to make sure Alyssa can get through this challenging time without worrying about financial strain so that she can focus on her healing.
