Alyssa's GoFundMe

With the help of her Aunt Sharon, Alyssa Ybarra assumed care for her little cousin, Amanda Shockley, when she was just 4 months old.  Amanda's father was not able to care for her and so, at just 21 years old and while working two jobs and concurrently attending college classes at night, Alyssa took up this enormous responsibility. Sharon and Alyssa eventually adopted Amanda formally when she was 2 years old and since that time, they have acted as Amanda's parents.

Up until this time, Sharon Ybarra has been the rock of the family and an essential source of support for Alyssa during a tumultuous year that has seen the passing of her father, her Aunt Linda, and her Grandma Marilyn.  But now, Sharon is on life support.

We are praying for a miracle for this family who has suffered so much loss this year.  Alyssa continues to attend work daily, despite the family difficulties, in order to provide for her daughter.

We have created this in hopes of helping Alyssa and Amanda during this incredibly trying time.
