Help Ama on her road to recovery and journey ahead

Our sister in Christ, Ama, needs our help!
Background:
Ama is a 65-year-old Citizen of the US living in Highlands Ranch, CO. She is originally from Ghana and has been in the U.S. over 25 years. She was invited to come to the US by some friends she met in Ghana. They observed Ama as she taught a Sunday School Class for young children. They saw her interacting with the children of Ghana and were extremely impressed with her ability to teach these children. As a result, the family invited Ama to the US to be a Nanny and to home school their young children. Those children thrived as Ama nurtured, loved and taught them. Those children are all grown up and doing well. Ama’s new goal has been to get a degree in Early Childhood Education at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton and return to Ghana to create a preschool for the children of Ghana. Ama already has several certificates in Early Childhood Develop but her goal is to have a full degree. Ama also works as a Teaching Assistant at Ascension Lutheran Church Preschool in Littleton, CO. She works there because she needs the income, also it is an opportunity to get experience in teaching young children and most importantly because she loves teaching these young children.
Incident:
On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, Ama went to work and about 10:30 am had a devastating heart attack and stroke. She is currently a patient at the Skyridge Hospital and is in their Severe Stroke Rehabilitation Unit. Her road to recover is very steep and prognosis is she will not make a full recovery.
Needs:
Ama’s job is an hourly job, and she does not receive any benefits i.e., health Insurance or sick pay. We are raising these funds to assist Ama with her normal bills, i.e., rent, insurances, phone, internet, medical bills, food and may need Assisted Living while she regains enough strength to live in her own home. She may need/choose to go home to Ghana to be with family.
Goal:
Our goal is to Raise $20,000 to cover these costs. We will adjust this goal as needed.
What you need to know about Ama is her extremely strong work ethic, her love for the children she teaches and her goal to provide Early Childhood Development in Ghana to provide better opportunities in life for these children. Ama is the most kind, caring, loving servant of the Lord that I have ever met. She has taken care of hundreds of children, the elderly and those in need. Now is the time for Ama’s friends and family to take care of her.
Ama’s financial needs are growing. Please prayerfully consider a donation to help our sister in Christ.
Sincerely,
Anne Heathman. Personal Friend, Navigator (Love INC) and College Tutor
