AMAC Golf Classic Fundraiser

Hey, my name is Anna! My dad lost his life in July 2021 at the young age of 51, after a year long battle with Advanced Metastatic Colorectal Cancer. We as a family and my dad’s friend’s have decided to create a charity in honour of my dad, Aidan McAleese, to help support those charities who meant a lot to my dad throughout his battle with cancer and also his life.

The main event of our fundraiser is an AMAC golf classic, in true style of my dad, in order to raise money for the charity, but for those like me who don’t enjoy golf, I thought a gofundme page was best suited.

We have raised money for individual charities before such as Cancer Research, but by creating our own charity we are able to divide the money raised across the multiple charities that deserve it, rather than just one.
