Amanda Alyse's road to recovery

Hi Family & Friends.
As many of you may know Amanda has been faced with the most difficult situation since December 4, 2016. She has been diagnosed with a Right Thalamic Tumor that has caused left paralysis. Those that know Amanda know that she has always had a love for gymanstic, music and has always been independant. This has been a great change for her as well as her family.
Amanda has always been loving, caring, independent, active little girl. Her love for dance, gymastic, music and church has definitly made her a very special soul. She is full of life, positive energy and fun spirited-- that is so contagious. Those that have come across her, know what a blessing it has been.
On December 4, 2016 Amanda was taken to our local hospital due to arm and leg weakness. The ER doctor decided to run all test including a CT scan to which it showed a large mass in her brain. She was rushed, via ambulance, to Nemours Children Hospital in Orlando and immediatly admitted. She spend a couple hours just waiting for the Neurosurgen and further testing to be completed. On Dec 5th, after the MRI, it was confirmed she had a Right thalamic Tumor. The Doctor was 80% sure it was a Low-grade astrocytoma and it could have been growing for months with no symptoms. She has gone through several surgeries in the attempt to get the tumor removed and now she is facing recovery. She is having to recover from Brain surgery and relearn to use her arm/hand and walking. While her right side is strong her left side is weak and she is needing 100% assitance.
Her mother has spend every moment by her side with the financial strains. Amanda has 2 brothers, whom she asks for everyday and the commuting of over an hour from palm bay to orlando has been hard for her family.
We ask of you:
1: Prayers- Please keep Amanda and family in your prayers. We are all praying that Amanda will overcome this and recover quickly so she can get back to her sassy self. It is her faith and positivity that keeps her smiling and promising that all will be back to normal.
2: Financial Aid-The goal is to support Amanda and family with her upcoming medical, commute and living expenses and to ease the financial burden in whatever way possible. Financial contributions would allow Amanda and her mother to focus on overcoming this hurtle and give her family a little reprieve while they focus on being strong for Amanda and supporting her through this journey. We do not know when Amanda will be able to get back to her indepnedancy or when her mother will be able to get back to work- however, Any contribution- however small would all add up and would make a big difference.
Please remember Amanda in your prayers. God Willing she will be back to her witty, sassy, loving and energetic self in no time.
God bless!
